Creatine side effects

Most bodybuilders and athletes who are building their strength use creatine for instant energy so that their muscles don't pump out easily and they can lift higher weights easily which helps in breaking a muscle and then rebuilding them.

What creatine actually does is that it provides phosphoryl groups to ADP helping them to get converted into ATP. During vigorous exercise the ATP (energy) in our body gets converted into ADP and thus we feel fatigue. This creatine which is actually a phosphocreatine provides phosphoryl groups to ADP and thus gets converted into ATP. So the accumulated ADP is reduced in muscles and hence the energy is increased.

However the use of phosphocreatine is harmful because it causes various problems if taken in doses which is just not normal. If we take 5g of it daily upto 5 years it will not show any effects. But if taken in higher amounts than that it can cause various things like headache, diarrohea, kidney damage, liver damage and most importantly testicular cancer also and etc etc.

So if u have take a creatine please prescribe it initially from the doctor and then take it to stay fit and healthy. So in my sense there is no need of creatine. Just use the normal diet for bodybuilding so that you can remain fit and healthy.
